 As Mahendra Singh Dhoni celebrated his 42nd birthday on July 7th, wishes poured in from all corners for the revered cricketing icon. Demonstrating his trademark humility, the former India skipper opted for a low-key celebration at his Ranchi farmhouse.

MS Dhoni has retired from international cricket but remains one of the most popular personalities in India. The former captain will be remembered by his millions of fans for his many memories across formats. Known for his brilliant leadership skills, Dhoni captained India to a T20 World Cup triumph in 2007, a One-Day World Cup glory in 2011, and ICC Champions Trophy in 2013.
